Hidden and out – “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” – What the Wine? #18
I can understand and relate to why Anna, played by Kristen Bell, drinks a lot in the Netflix series titled “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window“. Her child died a gruesome death. Most of us would need all the coping mechanism we can muster to live on. Her choice is copious consumption of red wine. We see so much of the wine, both in terms of number of bottles and corks and in terms of how much she can squeeze into a glass that I would have loved to know what is her choice of vintage. Alas, the show never shows the label itself. I wish at least the filmmakers would have made up one if they cannot show on screen a bottle from the real world. So this wine is out a lot but also hidden from the viewers. The screenshot below is from the 4th minute of the very first episode of the series.
